Everett Smith served with the Headquarters Company, 187th Regiment, 11th A/B Division during WWII. This site is in tribute to my father, "Smitty." GP is a member of the 11th Airborne Association. Member # 4511 and extremely proud of that fact!

    Hope you had a Happy Fourth! Thoroughly enjoyed the videos. Love the Crash Course.
    I was playing patriotic music all morning yesterday. Then by 3 pm, we were supposed to have our community parade and celebration, but the storm clouds started coming in, so it was moved to 4:30 pm. Between the thunder and the fireworks, Skipper went berserk from 3 pm to almost 2 am. We were supposed to have our party on July 2nd, which the Crash Course said was the declaration of Independence Day. We got rained out, so it was moved to yesterday. However, the fireworks started on Saturday, every night till 2 am. I’m thoroughly exhausted, did not get much sleep for three days because I had to calm down Skipper. Matt is in NY for 6 days. Lucky him!
