Hurricane Irma

THANK YOU !!!

Hello everyone.  Hurricane Irma has said goodbye and I have only just had power restored.  I greatly appreciate everyone’s concern and hopefully I will get caught up on each of your sites within a decent period of time.  Poor Houston was hit far worse than we were.  Have a great day!!

WE WERE PREPARED !!!

  1. I’m glad to hear it, how long did you not have power?

  2. So happy you held up to Irma’s wrath! These storms have been so powerful and destructive. Irma made me postpone my trip back south…and I happily changed the plans. I decided to stay in my home many years ago for Wilma…and swore I would never do it again!
Sending good thought of love and blessings to you 💜

    • Thank you. You can tell Florida has been through it before, the only ones surprised by the strength of a hurricane are the newcomers. We were prepared and [believe it or not] our government was too.

  5. I’m finally going through my backlog of favorite site posts. I was down in Houston for several days piloting a crew doing photo assessments for FEMA. Between that and some other travel, I’ve been behind in following along with my blogging friends’ sites. I’m glad to hear things were not as bad as they could have been for you in Florida.

  9. I hadn’t realised you were in the area. Hope things will continue to improve (America’s having truly awful times with fires on one side of the country and hurricanes and floods on the other.)

    • If only we could get all the water here to fall on the west coast fires, eh?! The rest of the world continues to have these disruptions as well with volcanoes and earthquakes, typhoons and sink holes. Mother Nature trying to get even for centuries of abuse to her planet?
