  3. Re your link about FDR – Check out FDR’s scandal pages; I did. Gasp!
I have referred to him as “a shrewd SOB when we needed one”, but this was way beyond most of what I knew about his activities. I must visit your page more often.

  6. Merry Christmas Day! No snow here this morning, GP, only green grass. The storm bypassed us, leaving thin, high clouds during the night through which the moon was shining. Forecast for today was partly cloudy, but it is heavily overcast again. We’ll see what the day brings…

The snow level reports are hanging around 1000 feet today, and may drop to 500 feet tonight. The farm is at 800 feet, so it is possible we may see a White Christmas tomorrow morning.

  33. GP Cox, and to so many, many, many more HEROES that heard, and felt that Call Of Duty that was embedded deep within them right along with the other values that was passed down generation to generation, and each said “I will defend this Great Country from enemies without and within….”
GP, My Good Friend, the faces and names of so many boys that were friends of my boys will never fade from my memory, Good Memories, of so many, many hours that turned to years almost overnight, of the time these boys spent in Our Home, and all were Good Boys. But there will always be an empty place at Our table:
U.S. Army CW2 Scott Jamar of Sweetwater, Texas – Killed when his UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in central Iraq, April 2, 2003.
Merry Christmas and Thank You to all Our Veterans, Active Service Members, and Reserve Service Members.
GP, I sincerely hope and pray that You and Your Family have a Very Merry Christmas.
I send all Good Things Your way,
    Robert
